Our Latest Interview With Diane from The Long Island Cat Hospital

The Cat Hospital located in Williston Park, NY is a feline only practice that offers a full array of veterinary care for your feline pet in a quiet stress free environment. In 1999 we established the Feline Hyperthyroid Treatment Center at The Cat Hospital. For the last ten years, we have been able to offer Radioactive Iodine therapy for hyperthyroid cats.

We took a few minutes to sit down with Receptionist, Diane, who has been with the the Bregman Vet Group at the Cat Hospital location for quite some time. Please view the interview below:

Interviewer: So Diane, when did you start working for Dr. Bregman at The Cat Hospital? 

Diane: I started in March of 2002. This is my ninth year with the Bregman Vet Group. I'm a veteran!

Interviewer: Have you ever worked at any other Veterinarian Offices?

Diane: Yes, for 15 years I worked for other local veterinarians.  

Interviewer: What makes the Bregman Vet Group different from other veterinarians you have worked for?

Diane: It's night and day. There is no comparison to the way Dr. Bregman treats his staff, patients, and animals. Dr. Bregman keeps it funny and relaxed. He is a pleasure and joy to be around while making the office a family-like environment.

Interviewer: What is your favorite part about working for Dr. Bregman? 

Diane: The fact that I enjoy coming into work everyday say's enough. It's a pleasant atmosphere and I love working with the animals, especially cats of course! 

Interviewer: What is your specialty? What makes you different than most of the staff?

Diane: I'm full-time on the phone and in charge of the boarding room. I also do most of the ordering for the Hospital when we need Food & Supplies. The boarding room is great for cat owners who go on vacation because they can leave there cats in a safe, fun environment guilt free. I maintain the feeding, cleaning, laundry, and keep it presentable for our animals and patients. 

Interviewer: How many pets do you have?

Diane: I have three cats and one dog. Needless to say, I am an Animal Lover!

Interviewer: Out of all the experiences you've had at The Cat Hospital, which is your favorite?

Diane: Everyday is different and it's all one big learning experience. It's never boring! I love watching some of the laser surgeries because it still amazes me how technology plays a huge role in saving the lives of numerous cats. The miracle of surgery itself is amazing to me.
